The murder of Zachary Lamb
In the late hours of…
November 7th, 2014 in Spokane, WA, Zachary Lamb and his fiancee made their way home after a night out. Somewhere along the short 2.4 mile route, a man started following them.
Zach tried to lose the car but it didn’t work. They were followed all the way to the street in front of his apartment. When Zach got out to confront the man, he was shot and killed. He was only 26 years old.
A Senseless Death investigates the case – the only unsolved murder in Spokane that year – and who Zach was, all in an effort to find his killer.

Zach and his fiancee were spending the evening celebrating with friends at Borracho Tacos & Tequileria.
Normally, the drive home would have been quick. But we know Zach didn’t take the quickest route home once he realized he was being followed.
We don’t know the exact drive Zach took while attempting to evade the murderer, but this map gives you a sense of the short distance between the two places he was last seen, and the major freeway (Interstate 90) cutting down the middle.
